Léonard Dupuis, 77, of Memramcook East, NB, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 1999 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, after a sudden illness. Born in Memramcook East, he was the son of the late Livain and Alice (Dupuis) Dupuis.
 A retired farmer, he attended Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. He was a member of the Club d'Âge d'Or de Memramcook and Pré-d’en-Haut.
He is survived by his wife, Corinne (Saulnior) Dupuis: four daughters, Claudette (Alyre) Saulnier of Memramcook East, Phyllis (Léonce) Bourgeois of Belliveau Village, Simonne (Ronald) Belliveau of Belliveau Village, Suzanne (Omer) Gaudet of Robichaud, NB; two sons, Michel (Gisèle) Dupuis of Gayton's, Terry Dupuis of Shediac; three sisters, Emma (Yves) LeBlanc of Shediac, Annie (Aimé) Cormier of Memramcook East, Clara (Antoine) Bourgeois of Memramcook East; one brother, Emery (Lorraine) Dupuis of Portsmith, NH; ten grandchildren, Carole, Lisa, Jolline, Sylvette, Josée, Anne, Nathalie, Sophie, Mario, Annick: one great grandchild. Jérémie, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Dora LeBlanc; four brothers, Philippe, Honoré, Emile, Léo.
Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with a Funeral service to be held at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East, on Friday, September 3, 1999 at 7pm, with Father Daniel Deveau officiating. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
